GREENS ON THE MARCH
There will
be a march and assembly in Trafalgar Square London against Genetically Modified organisms in our food on Saturday 10th April.
The march
from Hyde Park starts at 1.30 p.m. (assemble
at Marble Arch entrance 12.30 - 1.30 p.m.)
speeches start at 4 p.m. in Trafalgar Square.
John Tyler
for the West Sussex Green Party said: "Green
Party members and supporters from all over Sussex will be marching. It's our
chance to stand up and be counted at this very public show of strength against
the Genetic pollution of our food".
Continuing
John Tyler insisted: "The risks
and consequences of Genetically Engineered crops and products are not being
properly examined and that the concerns of those interested in international
trade are being given higher priority than basic safety".
