Horror Over Government decision

Despite warnings that Nucleargeddon could be the result of building a fleet of new rectors, the Cameron led coalition government has signed away the possibility of our country being rid of this frightening technology.

Once again Cameron and his partners in crimes have done something not contained in their manifestos, and this one will affect many future generations. Even if the horror of the waste from these reactors will be radioactive for less than the 250,000 years predicted, the end of life decommissioning costs for each reactor could exceed £5billion. So much for not passing down debt to our children.

If all that was not bad enough, should there be an accident or terrorist attack it will be us the taxpayer who foots the bill for the cleanup and not the operator, as these power stations are uninsurable.

However all is not lost. Below are links to how you can stop this nuclear madness including why Nuclear is not needed. Over the past 30 years or so there has been serious civil unrest over unpopular government schemes – the Poll tax and road building springs to mind. Could protests over Nuclear power be the mother of all protests?
