Will Grey MP's Be Exposed

The Road Traffic Reduction (UK Targets) Bill comes up for it's second reading in the House of Commons on Friday January 30th. This Bill is designed to reduce traffic miles 10% before 2010 by the use of cost effective alternative transport options.

West Sussex Green Party's Lucie Colkett said:  "So here we are, a golden opportunity to get relief for all those communities suffering blight from rat running or thundering traffic, but just how many of the 360 MP's who have signed up for this Bill will bother to turn up and VOTE for it ?."

Continuing Lucie Colkett said:  "The VOTE is on a Friday, Grey MP's traditional day for skiving off early to the golf course. Never mind that their poor constituents are frightened to cross the road for fear of injury, the 18th hole beckons."

"Friday the 30th of January is Commons watch day for the Green Party, We will expose all those MP's who let their constituents down by not voting to make this Bill law.
