Buitenen, the Flemish Green Party (AGALEV) member who submitted to the EU
Parliament the dossier on fraud and irregularities, has been stopped from coming
to the UK and speaking to the media about the matter by the powers that be.
West Sussex
Green Party's John Tyler said: " We are now taking the line that he has
been 'gagged' and that this is a bad sign when the commission has been promising
it will become more open and accountable".
"We are
also concerned, that this means we are unable to properly correct the inference
that the Tory's had made in their Euro election news sheet, stating they had
exposed the EU corruption".
"Clearly
this lastest episode shows how important it is to have British Green MEP's in
Brussels which the public know they can trust".
