The West Sussex Green Party will be holding a public meeting at the Fountain, 29 Southgate Chichester from 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday July 10, 2007 to discuss issues of concern such as: Local hospital closures, Rising sea levels, Flooding, House building, A27, Traffic problems etc. All are welcome to attend and contribute, and it's free.
Commenting, West Sussex Green Party's John Tyler said: "Following the launch of the West Sussex Priority Care Trusts plan to close or downgrade local hospitals we want to hear first hand what people think. Although this is possibly the issue of most immediate concern, there is general alarm over the effect of climate change and global heating, and the targets - or lack of them - to tackle it.
We hope as many as possible will attend and raise any other issues of concern and of course the meeting is free".
